Absolutely love this unit. Does everything it should. Its also very quiet, very powerful and does a great job of heating the whole house
Firstly, the initial delivery were missed because the driver didn't make a call to notify me when the driver has arrived. The driver decided to wait downstairs of my apartment without any notification and then drove away, claiming I was not there to receive the delivery. This ended up the second deliver, and the company wanted to invoice me for this extra costs/delivery.
Interestingly the installation guy refused to assess the installation in the first place, claiming that he can only do so until the aircon has arrived. Guess what, the installation guy decided to tell me it is impossible to install the aircon in my apartment AFTER the goods has arrived.
If i would have known that the installation is not going to work, I would have opted for another model.
The whole arrangement is a mess.

I have had my wifi adaptor connected to my home Daikin ducted system for about a year. In that time I have had to reset the lan controll unit twice.
The Out of Home just stops finding the lan controller, and subsequently drops off Google Home control (not "offline" in G/Home, but just disconnects itself from G/Home). The lan controller remains connected to my wifi, and remains controllable via the app when I am at home on the wifi.
The only way to fix this, is climb back into the loft, reset the device and add back to Google Home.
Very frustrating.
I think there is a flaw with the design/firmware of these devices or the Daikin network itself.

The controller was brand new and simply plugged in and it was operational. It arrived fairly quickly and, tellingly, it was $500 cheaper than quoted from a local company !!!

I bought from OzAir online. A fantastic company who followed up on all my purchase/delivery details and sent me the most amazing electricians to install both the Daiken and Mitsubishi units. The guys were from enabled electrics.
A very good outcome as it's quite a process to buy,have delivered, and then having the units installed.
The quality is quite okay, but the problem is, its too big and do not have enough magnetic point to hold on to the external unit. Just a little wind and it got blown off from the external unit and now its cracked and broken.
It should have at least 6 magnetic points and better yet 8 magnetic point contact that will really hold on to the external unit. It needs redesign and add in the additional magnetic contact for better support and hold on to the external unit.

Looks great, much better to look at than the AC outdoor unit. Awkward to put together as the bolts and nuts are in fairly inaccessible locations. Fixings could be better designed
